As a key member of our Food Merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our stores have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time. Your expertise in stock optimisation and allocation will be instrumental in driving sales and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Optimisation: Analyse sales data and inventory levels to identify opportunities for stock optimisation and allocation.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the buying team to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock movement.
  • Auto Re-ordering and Allocation: Implement and maintain auto re-ordering and allocation systems to maximise stock availability and reduce waste.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Provide regular analysis and reporting to the buying team on stock performance, sales trends, and competitor activity.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the merchandising team, buying team, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Strong Retail Knowledge: Proven experience in retail inventory management and stock optimisation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse sales data and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
