Spire Murrayfield Hospital is seeking a Transport Assistant to support the overall safety and security of the hospital premises on a flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely escort and transport patients throughout the hospital in a compassionate and professional manner Manage the collection and delivery of both clean and soiled linen Handle the collection and disposal of domestic and clinical waste, including recycling (with appropriate training) Contribute to the overall security of the hospital facilities and surrounding areas Organize furniture and equipment as needed Perform reception and switchboard tasks as required Maintain effective communication and teamwork within the hospital and department Assist with administrative duties, such as answering calls and preparing medical records Undertake any other responsibilities that reasonably align with the general nature of the role

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Strong communication skills and professional presentation are essential Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively A valid, clean driving license is required
