Security Automation Specialist

Job Title: Security Automation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Automation Specialist to join our team at Tesco Technology. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing automated workflows that enhance our security posture and improve our response to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated workflows using SOAR platforms to improve security incident response and reduce human hours.
- Collaborate with security engineers and analysts to develop and maintain security automation playbooks.
- Improve existing automations and playbooks to ensure optimal platform performance and security.
- Maintain the SOAR platform to ensure availability and optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with cyber security tools and solutions, including SOAR platforms.
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and emerging threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Experience working and developing using Python.
- Understanding of REST APIs and ability to develop and interact with REST API.
- Experience working with public cloud and operating systems - both Linux and Windows platforms.
