Supply Chain and Logistics Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Logistics Assistant to join our team at Wynne Consulting. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of orders, arranging logistics, and supporting customs processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders and related documents within our ERP system
  • Arrange logistics for local project requirements and process deliveries from our European Customisation and Distribution Centre
  • Order fulfilment of products, hardware options, and other project-related equipment
  • Support customs processes for company equipment, including commercial invoices
  • Process project closures, pick slips, invoices, and related project documents within the ERP system
  • Actively communicate with customers, freight providers, and suppliers
  • Ensure sales order data is maintained to ensure accuracy of project delivery and invoice dates
  • Investigate, monitor, record, and resolve customer/internal queries for quality control
  • Support the Supply Chain and Logistics team and wider teams to meet department and business KPIs

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar position
  • Order processing experience is desirable
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office package (knowledge in JDE or SAP is advantageous)
  • Customer-centric approach to work
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Determined to get the job done and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
  • Good time management, planning, and accuracy
  • Ability to manage your own workload in a high-volume environment
