Paediatric Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and their families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans for individual clients
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including medicine management
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients' families
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care
Requirements:
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN
  • Supportive management style with the ability to bring out the best in others
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbally and written, to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
