Critical Care Nurse Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our dynamic team of senior nursing staff within Critical Care at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with a passion for leadership and patient care to take on a key role in our Critical Care Unit. As a Band 6 Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients and families, while also leading and managing a team of nurses to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients and families in the Critical Care environment
- Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure effective delivery of care
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Contribute to the development of nursing education and training programs
- RGN active NMC registration
- Critical Care Course (60 credits at level 6 or above)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
