Tax Audit Specialist

At Pro-Tax, we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough tax audits, working closely with junior staff and tax partners to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth tax audits, identifying and addressing complex tax issues
- Manage a substantial tax portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement tax strategies
- Provide coaching and training to junior team members, promoting professional growth and development
- Stay up-to-date with UK corporate taxation laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to deliver exceptional results
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of UK corporate taxation, with the ability to deal with complex tax issues
- Proven project and staff management experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality results
- Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
- Demonstrable post-qualified experience, with a strong understanding of tax accounting principles
