About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at phs Group. As a leading provider of Hygiene Services in the UK, Spain, and Ireland, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in commercial properties, including retail, hospitality, sports stadiums, hospitals, educational facilities, and government institutions.
  • Test, inspect, and fault-find electrical equipment and LED project work.
  • Ensure all administration related to repairs is complete.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £36,341.75, with average earnings of circa £43,400 (base salary, on-call, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time).
  • 40 hours per week, with working away and out-of-hours work.
  • Realistic earning potential excluding overtime on weekends, circa £41,200.
  • 31 days' holiday allowance (including statutory bank holidays).

Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
  • JIB Card (desirable).
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing (desirable).
  • AM2 or equivalent.
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
  • IPAF and PASMA are not essential but desirable.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
  • The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
