Job Summary

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking an experienced Aftersales Department Head to join our client, a well-established dealership group. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading the Service and Aftersales departments to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control Work-in-Progress (WIP), warranty, and debtors to ensure efficient operations and minimize financial risks.
  • Oversee the parts support process and maintain Aftersales franchise standards and manufacturer relationships.
  • Lead a large team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor and control sales activity, reviewing performance with team members and agreeing on action plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealerships, and manufacturers to drive business growth and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in managing a Service and Aftersales department within a main dealership in the UK.
  • Proven track record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction and business results.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a large team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, dealerships, and manufacturers.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth and improvement.
