Your new company is a leading British construction company with a strong presence in the UK market. With offices across the country, this role is based in our London office, offering flexible working arrangements. The construction legal team consists of experienced lawyers, including a Head of Legal, who will oversee your work. Due to the company's rapid growth, they are seeking a paralegal to support their increasing workload on an interim basis, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

Your new role will involve supporting the construction legal team with their workload, including budgeting and managing external counsel fees. You will work closely with the team to understand complex legal concepts and provide support with construction law, particularly with JCT/NEC forms.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

  • Experience as a paralegal, either in-house or in private practice.
  • Ideally, experience in interim positions, although not essential.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to understand complex legal concepts.
  • Prior experience in construction law, particularly with JCT/NEC forms.
  • Immediate availability or a short notice period, as the start date is ASAP.
