Network & Linux Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Venture Up. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, robust, and secure systems to support our trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and build scalable, robust, and secure systems using configuration management tools.
  • Drive the deployment of infrastructure and ensure systems are working optimally.
  • Diagnose faults and address them, working with vendors and other internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of network and routing protocols (TCP/IP, LACP, MLAG, OSPF, and BGP).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise class networking platforms (Arista, Cisco - IOS, Nexus).
  • Thorough understanding of Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower).
  • Network and Linux administration and security – authentication and authorization systems, audit, hardening, analysis (including IPSEC and RADIUS).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities, including packet-level traffic analysis.
  • Technical architecture and design including high availability systems and networks.
  • Advanced Programming and Scripting for Automation – Ansible, Python, and Bash.
