Job Type: Full-time, 1-year contract
Location: Mainstream Secondary School in Croydon
Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro-rata to £18,500 term-time only)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to 11-16 year olds with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups of students
- Monitor pupils and assess, record and report on pupil achievement, progress and development
- Build core skills and support a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers and family
- Motivated and determined individual with a positive, can-do attitude
- Previous experience working within the Mental Health field is advantageous
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
