About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to our pupils, helping to create an outstanding learning environment that enables them to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning plans, ensuring that pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of respect, empathy, and kindness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve the quality of support provided to pupils.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) relevant to working within education.
  • Practical experience of working with children within an educational setting.
  • Experience of assessment within the Primary School.
  • The ability to work one to one, in small groups and with whole classes.
  • The ability to contribute effectively to teachers' planning and preparation of lessons.
