Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced care professional to join our team as a team leader. As a team leader, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in all aspects of their daily living, ensuring our caregivers are conducting themselves in a client-centered and professional way, and providing support for our caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients in all aspects of their daily living, including personal care, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Ensure caregivers are conducting themselves in a client-centered and professional way, adhering to our company's values and standards.
  • Provide support and guidance to caregivers, including training and development opportunities.
  • Develop effective working relationships with office staff, including the care management team and administrative staff.
  • Assist in the development of our care philosophy, goals, and objectives, ensuring they are aligned with our company's values and mission.
  • Provide cover in the absence of a caregiver, ensuring continuity of care for our clients.
  • Carry out on-call duties, responding to client needs and concerns outside of regular working hours.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • NVQ level 4 health and social care or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience supervising and guiding others, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a care setting.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory position, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work alternate weekends.
