About the Role:

The Childcare Team at G2 Legal Limited is a highly expert group of solicitors dealing with a wide range of issues, including children's issues and disputes, care proceedings, adoption, and surrogacy. We regularly appear in the high court in public and private law proceedings and are often instructed by professional guardians to act in the most serious and complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a range of matters, including children's issues and disputes, care proceedings, adoption, and surrogacy
  • Joining an existing caseload of matters and working independently with minimal supervision
  • Undertaking advocacy and representing clients in court
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent results
  • Managing a complex workload and prioritizing tasks effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience of running own childcare matters from instruction through to completion
  • Membership of the Law Society Children's Panel
  • Ability to work 4 or 5 days a week
  • Capacity to undertake complex work and handle high-pressure situations
