About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Southwark Council. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the lifestyle of our community members by providing expert assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of individuals with disabilities
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care
  • Provide training and support to individuals, families, and caregivers to enhance their skills and confidence

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Relevant UK-recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • DBS clearance
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including 1:1 work and group sessions
  • Knowledge of OT theory, specialist assessments, and interventions
