**Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager Opportunity**

The Role

Barber McLelland Ltd is a leading recruitment consultancy service for the Accountancy Profession. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager to join our team.

The business is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager to support the senior management team and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee an allocation of clients within a varied portfolio
  • Assist with client audits, from planning through to completion
  • Preparation of Statutory accounts
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Preparation of Management Information
  • Corporate and Personal Tax
  • Training and advice on accounting software
  • Provide commercial business support
  • Assist with staff development and training

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the accountancy profession
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience within an audit environment
