Research Development Manager

The University of Reading's world-leading research in Agriculture, Food & Health is addressing global challenges including climate change, resource degradation, hunger, poverty, diet and disease prevention and treatment. Our experts work with partners globally and locally to influence both policy and practice to ensure evidence-informed decision making.
As a Research Development Manager, you will be contributing to the development of high-quality research grant applications and the generation of research income at the University of Reading. You will work primarily with the Agriculture, Food & Health theme, supporting the development of research projects and collaborations.
The role requires:
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing, with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to progress numerous projects at any one time and to prioritise and manage own work flow
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Awareness of research funding sources and mechanisms in the UK and overseas
