Interface Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Interface Manager to join our team at AmcoGiffen, a leading provider of multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects in the Wales region. As an Interface Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating the requirements for land access, environmental consents, third-party communications, and ensuring compliance with environmental, ecological, and statutory authority and local authority consents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the timely identification of consent requirements and external interfaces to ensure work can be undertaken as planned, on time, and on budget.
- Interfacing with project teams, regulators, clients, and the SHEQ team to obtain and verify project documentation, coordinate meetings, and provide advice on best practice.
- Maintaining and updating the interface tracker process to demonstrate and report on progress to the business.
- Developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, interface points, procedures, site arrangements, standards, and best practice.
- Working with the bid team to ensure consent and application requirements for new work are identified at an early stage and factored into bid estimates and timelines.
- Integrating with the CP7 Structures Wales Development team to understand the scope and requirements of the 5-year work bank and identify efficiencies in consent and interface management within the team.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in project management, dealing with local authorities consenting departments, consenting bodies, third parties in a rail and/or civil engineering project environment.
- Experience working in civil engineering project environments (ideally within rail).
- Maintaining good communications with project stakeholders and support functions, in particular the SHEQ (primarily Environmental / Sustainability) and operational project teams.
