School Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager to join our team at Hullavington CE Primary and Nursery School. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Headteacher and other senior colleagues to strategically lead and manage the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various areas, including finance, HR, procurement, Health and Safety, Premises, and GDPR. This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks), with some flexibility in how these hours are allocated across the week.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically lead and manage the school's finances, ensuring effective use of resources to support the school's aims.
- Oversee HR, procurement, Health and Safety, Premises, and GDPR, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Work closely with the Headteacher and other senior colleagues to develop and implement school policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the school.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, pupils, parents, and the local community.
- Positive and solutions-focused attitude.
- Well-organised and highly proficient financial and administrative skills.
- Strong communicative skills with an attention to detail.
- Professional, dedicated, and hardworking.
