Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Accounts Assistant to join our team at Gotcha Recruitment. As a Part Time Accounts Assistant, you will provide support to our small team based in the Newbury area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify financial transactions, including purchase invoices and supplier payments.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including VAT input certificates and debtor receipts.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure accurate allocation of prepayments and application of splits to minor overpayments.
  • Monitor and chase debtor receipts as required.
  • Perform general banking and updating of supplier bank details.

Requirements:

  • Accounts and/or bookkeeping experience, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Part time availability, minimum 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work from home.
  • Living in or around the Newbury area.
  • Flexible and mature attitude, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Xero experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or engineering environment.

Hourly Rate: Flexible depending on experience.
