WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are in search of a candidate with a minimum of two years' experience in a production or picture desk role within a local or national newsroom.

This position entails supporting the production editor and efficiently packaging newsworthy content.

Our stories originate from around the globe, with a particular emphasis on the UK and US, utilizing various methods to discover articles. Social media is a crucial aspect of our operations, so proficiency in major platforms (TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) is essential.

The ideal applicant will be self-driven, adept at multitasking and managing their workload, and capable of prioritizing incoming content under the guidance of Editors. While a foundational understanding of media law is beneficial, exceptional phone etiquette and strong communication skills are imperative.

Attention to detail, a keen eye for compelling visuals, and an understanding of press requirements and how to engage different media outlets—ranging from national and digital publications to broadcast, magazines, and print—are essential qualities.
