Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our maintenance team at Morgan Ryder in Blackpool.

As a key member of our engineering function, you will be responsible for ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimized to support production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment
  • Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
  • PPMs, breakdown maintenance, and Route Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPIs
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward
  • Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades
  • Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to
Requirements:
  • Time served Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND)
  • Min of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and software; PLCs, Control Systems, HMI
  • Improvement mind-set
  • Excellent communication skills
