Scaffolding Role Overview

VGC, a leading provider of support services to the UK infrastructure industry, is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble scaffolding according to project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures, including metal pipes, wooden planks, and other materials.
  • Use hand and power tools to connect scaffolding components securely.
  • Implement safety measures such as guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets.
  • Plan scaffolding layout and placement to accommodate project requirements.
  • Ensure scaffolding can support the weight of workers, materials, and equipment safely.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in scaffolding or a related field.
  • CISRS Card qualification.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
