The Role:
The Meetings & Events Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the effective planning, coordination, and execution of all operational elements related to meetings, conferences, and exclusive events at our hotel or spa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of events, ensuring all logistics are carefully planned and executed.
- Effectively manage the Meetings & Events department, ensuring all team members are aligned with departmental goals and adequately trained.
- Contribute to the hotel's and spa's profitability by driving revenue from meetings, conferences, and events.
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resources to meet financial objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the Meetings & Events team to deliver exceptional service and achieve departmental goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to keep the team informed about industry trends and best practices.

- Monitor departmental performance, making necessary adjustments to meet or exceed targets.
Person Specification:
Essentials:
- Demonstrated experience in events management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on motivation, development, and performance management.
- Proven ability to work closely with and manage partnerships.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous task management.
- Commitment to providing outstanding service and fostering long-term client relationships.
Desirables:
- Experience managing large-scale events in a luxury or high-end environment is preferred.
Further Information:
- 45 hours per week.
- 5 days a week.
