We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team at PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient cost estimates for projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and submit complex tenders, bids, and proposals for various projects
  • Analyze and interpret client requests, drawings, and specifications to determine and estimate value-engineered solutions
  • Utilize expertise to submit bespoke bids and proposals to clients
  • Attend pre and post-tender bid meetings with clients and their representatives
  • Work under deadline pressures in an efficient and composed manner
  • Assist and support the business to meet financial targets
  • Help identify and develop potential new opportunities for work
  • Help identify new suppliers and sub-contractors to improve performance and profit
Requirements
  • Proven track record in estimating and tendering within the piling, foundations, or ground engineering sectors
  • Ability to identify project requirements and accurately prepare quotations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands on time availability and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to monitor progress and implement controls to ensure tasks are achieved to time, cost, and quality
  • Develop and select effective solutions to challenges, opportunities, and risk
  • Communicate facts, ideas, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders in an effective and persuasive manner
