OUR TEAM
The Northern Ireland division operates within the Energy Directorate of our organization. Our primary objective is to implement the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP), alongside various initiatives aimed at assisting households in Northern Ireland to conserve energy and reduce costs.
The team consists of four program coordinators who collaborate closely to ensure the successful execution of NISEP, reporting directly to the project manager. The team also includes an assistant program manager and is led by the program manager for Northern Ireland. Regular collaboration with external partners and other internal teams is a key aspect of our work.
YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to join our Northern Ireland team. The program coordinator will focus on empowering residents in Northern Ireland to create more energy-efficient homes, lower their utility expenses, and minimize their carbon emissions.
NISEP is an £8 million funding initiative designed to support energy efficiency improvements in both residential and commercial properties. We serve as the program administrator for NISEP on behalf of the Utility Regulator in Northern Ireland.
This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your program management skills and deepen your understanding of the Energy Access sector, particularly in assisting our vulnerable clientele.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the effective operation of our Northern Ireland program, ensuring adherence to established processes and protocols.
- Concentrate on the administration of NISEP, which includes evaluating payment requests, reviewing and interpreting interim reports, and managing various NISEP-related tasks.
- Engage with external partners and collaborate with colleagues across different offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. You will build strong working relationships with all primary bidders involved in NISEP.
- Proficient administrative and numerical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational capabilities and an appreciation for the significance of meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
