Job Title: Bank Chef
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital. As a Bank Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to provide high-quality professional service to our customers, demonstrating excellent social skills and a positive approach to customer care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Produce meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a large operation, adhering to centralized standards of preparation, production, and presentation.
* Maintain a positive and flexible approach to customer service and strong communication skills.
* Plan patients' diets as necessary, including the correct utilization of stock, and have a strong knowledge of allergens.
* Ensure quality assurance and patient confidentiality are maintained at all times.
* Comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling, and be aware of corporate and local safety policies.
**Requirements:**
* Previous Chef/Cookery experience is essential.
* Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate/qualifications are required for this role, and you must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of this.
* Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
