Job Summary

Wood PLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the implementation of quality management systems across our programs and projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System Implementation: Develop and implement quality management systems that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and Assurance: Ensure compliance with Wood PLC's Business Management System and industry standards, and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
  • Resource Allocation: Support the effective planning and allocation of resources to deliver agreed objectives and deliverables.
  • External Certification: Facilitate external certification of our Business Management System as required.
  • Quality Supporting Systems: Ensure consistent and effective implementation of quality supporting systems across our organization.
  • Tender and Proposal Support: Support tender and proposal activities for our organization.
  • Risk-Based Assurance: Plan and execute risk-based assurance plans, including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
  • Delivery Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders and undertaking intervention as required.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and act upon customer feedback to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Lead Auditor Qualification: Lead Auditor qualification by recognized industry body.
  • Membership: Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute, or equivalent.
  • Formal Training: Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques.

  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in associated industry.
  • Industry Standards: Comprehensive understanding of industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011, and associated Wood Standards).
  • Analysis and Data: Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
  • Communication: High-level communication skills in both written and spoken format.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
