The Smartlist is a reputable organization focused on educational excellence, and we are looking for dedicated Cleaners to support our operations.

This role is specifically for term time only, with typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 7 PM. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the premises are kept clean and orderly. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in your contributions, this position may be ideal for you.

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in our organization. In this permanent position, you will be entrusted with the cleanliness of both student and staff areas, ensuring they remain pristine each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the facilities and grounds under the guidance of the cleaning supervisors.
  • Occasionally assist with other routine tasks as needed.
  • Provide coverage for absent colleagues when possible during your scheduled hours.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the organization.
  • Follow all policies and procedures established by the organization.
  • Engage in training and professional development activities relevant to your role.
  • Contribute to a safe learning environment by complying with safeguarding procedures.

Salary: £7,936 per annum (equivalent to £11.83 per hour)

Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only, Monday - Friday 4 PM - 7 PM.
