Job Opportunity for a Dedicated RMN or RNLD Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disability (RNLD) to join our team in a spectacular hospital based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester area.

This hospital offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults, providing innovative, high-quality care and treatment for patients with challenging and complex needs.

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with an active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be part of a large multi-disciplinary team providing safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illness.
  • Observe and respond to patient behaviors on the ward, including self-harm and acts of aggression.
  • Formulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Manage medication and act as shift coordinator, allocating staff and overseeing the work of junior staff and colleagues.
  • Maintain patient and staff safety.
  • Ensure good quality of patient documentation, meeting regulatory guidance and statutory requirements.
  • Work within the NMC Code of Conduct and practice guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Show empathy and warmth in your interactions with patients.
  • Ability to write care plans and carry out observations.
  • Use your initiative to provide high-quality care.
  • Carry out general nursing tasks.
  • Have a positive and can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent annual salary up to £31,442.23 per annum. We have vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
