Job Summary

Maritime Transport is seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our Distribution Division. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Transport goods to various locations, following a predetermined route
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the cargo at all times
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve any issues
  • Participate in regular vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance

  • Average weekly earnings of £900, with potential to exceed £1,000
  • Hourly pay ranging from £14 to £18, including meal allowance
  • Overtime pay rates of £16.80 or £21.00 for days, and £21.00 or £26.25 for nights
