Job Title:

Associate City Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate City Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for overseeing planning applications, handling planning appeals, and representing clients in Local Plan submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee planning applications of all sizes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  2. Handle planning appeals, presenting cases to planning committees and tribunals.
  3. Represent clients in Local Plan submissions, providing expert advice and guidance.
  4. Promote sites, working closely with developers and stakeholders to secure planning permissions.
  5. Participate in Local Plan Examinations, providing technical expertise and analysis.
  6. Engage in public inquiry work, representing clients and presenting cases to planning committees.
Requirements:
  1. Town Planners with 8-10 years of professional experience, whether in the private or public sector.
  2. Postgraduate qualification in Planning and chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  3. A full driving license is required.
