Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Plymouth. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver dynamic maths lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic potential.
• Contribute to the design and development of an innovative maths curriculum that emphasizes real-world applications.
• Foster a love for mathematics and its practical applications, encouraging students to explore diverse mathematical concepts.
• Lead and participate in maths-related extracurricular activities, competitions, and clubs.

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons.
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have at least 6 months of school-based experience working in a UK secondary school setting.
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
