English Teacher Opportunity with Step Teachers

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our team of educators in Suffolk. As an English Teacher with Step Teachers, you will have the opportunity to work with students of various ages and abilities, creating engaging lesson plans and delivering dynamic classes that foster a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote academic excellence and student engagement.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas to enhance the learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and have recent experience as an English Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Have a strong understanding of the English curriculum, including KS3 and KS4, and be able to create engaging lessons that meet the needs of students.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly with colleagues and students, and maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment.
  • A relevant degree in English or a related field is desirable.
