Are you a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Instructor eager to make a difference in the lives of students and young individuals?

We are seeking a passionate SEN Instructor to join our newly established Options Autism School - Skylarks School. This institution is designed to accommodate 60 students and will focus on those aged 11 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Complex Needs.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • Salary up to £44,000 per annum, based on experience (not pro rata)
  • 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
  • Term Time only
  • Permanent position
  • This role does not offer sponsorship

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, planning, and evaluating teaching sessions while staying updated on curriculum advancements.
  • Developing and implementing individual education plans, assessing educational progress, and setting challenging yet attainable goals.
  • Fostering relationships with all students to encourage their engagement and participation in learning.
  • Creating a stimulating and purposeful environment that promotes teaching and learning beyond traditional classroom settings.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status/Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills.
  • Experience in teaching English and Maths, demonstrating effective teaching at a good or outstanding level.
