About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Device Engineering Team in Liverpool, working closely with the Electronics Development Manager to drive innovation and growth in our R&D pillar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners to develop designs through the full product lifecycle, from component selection to prototype development and technical solutions.
  • Apply expertise in Electronic Engineering to deliver against design brief and functional performance, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Develop innovative concepts to solve engineering challenges, leveraging the capabilities of the team.
  • Manage prototype design, iterative development, and debug/testing activities to validate concepts and mitigate risk.
  • Work closely with multifunctional counterparts to deliver fit-for-purpose propositions and ensure technical requirements are clearly understood.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners and suppliers to access newest technologies and facilitate prototype production and scale-up to full production.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in electro-mechanical prototype testing.
  • Schematic Capture & PCB Design for low-power applications.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Support the technical project lead and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Creation of technical documentation and experience in conducting and reporting verification reports.
