We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Assistant to join our Cash & Banking team at ZIGUP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our daily banking operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Raise, record, and post cheques, as well as submit Direct Debit files and administer daily cash reports.
- Process BACS/CHAPS payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Work closely with the team to ensure all banking transactions are processed according to our policy and within agreed timescales.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a finance team, preferably in a cash & banking, purchase ledger, sales ledger, or related area.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
