Housing Management Specialist

Job Overview:
Hellens Residential is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to support the delivery of our high-quality housing management service. As a Housing Management Specialist, you will work closely with our in-house support teams and key stakeholders to ensure that we provide a sensitive and responsive service to tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management team in ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice in providing housing for vulnerable people.
- Manage tenant applications and conduct viewings to allocate rental properties.
- Be the lead contact with local authorities allocations teams to facilitate the allocation process.
- Carry out Start Key handovers and Home Welcome Visits to ensure a smooth transition for new tenants.
- Provide holiday cover for Home Co-Ordinators and report back to the team at weekly meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the quality of our housing management service.
Requirements:
- First degree in a relevant field (e.g. housing, social work, law).
- Excellent record-keeping and administrative skills.
- Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport.
- Ability to travel independently around the north of England.
- Professional attire and ability to represent the company in a positive manner.
Working Arrangements:
- Full-time position.
- Monday to Friday working hours.
- Free parking on-site.
