Job Title: Data Privacy and Protection Manager

Connells Group HQ is seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy and Protection Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading estate agency and property services provider in the UK.

Job Purpose and Objective

The successful candidate will support the Group Data Protection function, particularly the Group Data Protection Officer and Assistant Group Data Protection Officer. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert advice on Data Protection matters to the business.
  2. Supporting the completion of Data Protection Controls Frameworks.
  3. Identifying potential issues and risks related to personal data processing within and across business functions.
  4. Supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  5. Reviewing data protection clauses in contracts.
  6. Providing ad hoc support as directed by the Group Data Protection Officer.
  7. Delivering high-quality written work and reporting.
  8. Assessing the impact and relevance of issues and articulating them in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Maintaining a commercial approach while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  10. Hold a recognized Data Protection qualification or be willing to study for one.
  11. Have at least 2 years' experience in a Data Protection or similar compliance role.
