Job Overview

As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the efficient production of components, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist:

  • Interpret technical drawings and follow instructions on the route card.
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines such as Bridgeport, Coburg, Hurco, and Soreluce.
  • Manage program loading, editing, and backups.
  • Utilize overhead cranes (training will be provided).
  • Select appropriate tools for tasks and change inserts as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections of products upon completion of machining or during pre-machining and in-process checks as outlined in manufacturing instructions.
  • Implement required machine parameter adjustments during setup.
  • Perform test runs of new or modified programs, making necessary adjustments to machine and tool offsets to achieve specified dimensions.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Prior experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Engineering qualification at level 2 is ideal.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards (ISO 9001).
  • Experience with CAD CAM systems is advantageous.
