Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proficient Machine Minder to enhance our vibrant production workforce. In this role, you will be essential in guaranteeing the effective and seamless functioning of our manufacturing lines. Your responsibilities will include overseeing, maintaining, and diagnosing machinery to ensure peak performance and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of production standards and compliance from the line.
  • Exhibit the capability to identify issues, resolve them, and take action on an hourly basis.
  • Accountable for achieving the Process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the packing department, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Cost, and Waste on a shift basis.
  • Manage line/shift-specific consumer feedback and complaints.
  • Conduct evaluations to pinpoint areas for enhancement and monitor employee performance and cleanliness.
  • Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and take appropriate actions.
  • Comprehend process parameters and their influence on KPI performance.
  • Promote and elevate cleanliness standards and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within your designated area.
  • Understand the fault reporting system and its proper application.
  • Identify tags and maintain the tag registers for your area of responsibility.
  • Provide constructive feedback to staff operating in the processing area.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies.

Training and Development:
Assist in the training of fellow colleagues to foster a knowledgeable workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficient verbal and numerical reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and systems.
