Live Event Production Technician

About the Role:
Creative Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audio-Visual & Live Event Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up technical equipment for events, ensuring that everything is in good working condition and allocated correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up audio, lighting, video, and special effects equipment for events
- Highlight any issues with missing kit to ensure everything is present and correct
- Ensure all equipment is scanned in and out accurately and update the system as necessary
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix AV systems before, during, and after events
- Pack and load equipment efficiently, understanding the correct way that equipment should be transported
- Test, repair, and maintain equipment as necessary to ensure it is in good working order before being sent out
- Work on-site to set up equipment efficiently and effectively, ensuring everything is working and to the correct specification
- Good computer literacy skills, including understanding bespoke software used within the business
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, dealing with a variety of people internally and externally
- Health & Safety - Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and requirements both in the warehouse and on-site
Requirements:
- GCSE Grade 4/C in both Maths and English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy skills
- Health & Safety awareness
Training and Development:
Creative Alliance offers a comprehensive training program, including the Creative Production Technician - Live Event Technician Pathway (LET) Level 3. This program will provide you with the skills and knowledge to become a skilled Live Event Technician, specializing in sound, lighting, or video.
