Position Overview

As a **Mobile Tyre Technician**, you will leverage your skills to provide exceptional service directly to customers in various locations. Utilizing a digital device, you will manage bookings, procure and transport stock from your designated base, and efficiently plan your travel routes. Your role involves visiting clients at their homes or workplaces to perform scheduled tasks, adhering to the highest standards of technical proficiency and safety.

Your responsibilities will include the secure operation of the **National Mobile van** and all associated equipment. You should possess:

  • Proven experience in tyre removal, repair, and installation, whether in a workshop or on the road
  • A strong background in delivering outstanding customer service in person
  • The capability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and determine the most effective solutions
  • A valid driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and practices.

This is a full-time position, requiring 44 hours of work per week, typically from Monday to Friday, with hours from 08:30 to 17:30, including a one-hour unpaid break, and Saturday from 08:30 to 12:30. A van and necessary tools will be provided for your shifts, as well as during the one-hour call-out period surrounding each shift.

In the role of **Mobile Tyre Technician**, you will be responsible for covering absences due to holidays and sickness. Flexibility is essential, as you may need to use your own vehicle to reach the base location of the mobile unit you are covering, and there may be occasions where you will need to stay away from home for up to four nights a week. While extended stays are not a weekly requirement, they may be necessary at times.
