About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrator to join our team at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including managing referrals, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust standards.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify and address patient needs, ensuring timely and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • GCSEs in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
  • NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Level 3 RSA/OCR typewriting qualification or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
