Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed individual to join our catering team at Lancashire County Council. As a Catering Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, healthy meals to school children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages.
- Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and equipment.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable.
Working Hours/Days:
- Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day.
- Term time only.
- 10 hours per week, with variable hours depending on school meal uptake.
