Join Our Team as a Clinical Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a Functional Assessor role. You will work with individuals to gather medical information, perform physical examinations, and produce accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individuals and gather medical information
  • Perform physical examinations and take medical histories
  • Produce accurate reports for the DWP
  • Work with individuals to understand their disabilities or conditions and how they affect their work life
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years
  • Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including Surgical, Medical, A & E, Community and Practice Nursing
  • NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV
  • IT skills and experience of using a range of software
  • Self-aware and focused on professional development
  • Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery
