Eden Brown is on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Preconstruction Lead to become a vital part of our esteemed Design & Build contractor team, renowned for transforming commercial office environments.

As a prominent player in the Design & Build sector, we pride ourselves on our extensive experience and successful track record in delivering exceptional office fit-out projects across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring meticulous preparation of estimates, budgets, schedules, and value engineering assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with business development and design teams to evaluate and enhance project proposals, aligning them with client objectives, financial parameters, and timelines.
  • Manage the bidding process, which includes soliciting subcontractor and supplier proposals, conducting bid analyses, and selecting subcontractors.
  • Perform comprehensive site evaluations to identify potential challenges, opportunities, and risks during the preconstruction phase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the preconstruction process.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
  • A proven history of successful preconstruction management in commercial office fit-out projects, ideally within the relevant market.
  • Experience in the Design & Build sector is essential; candidates with relevant early-stage D&B experience from other sectors will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing a high-performing preconstruction team.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard preconstruction software and tools, including estimating, scheduling, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
