About the Role:
The Tuition Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our learning centre, ensuring the highest quality of education and care for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the learning centre, including the management of student progress and the growth of student numbers.
- Undertaking initial educational assessments of every student to identify their individual learning requirements, including the identification of gaps, learning blockages, and strengths.
- Designing individualized learning plans for each student, utilizing a vast array of programmes and high-quality resources.
- Ongoing monitoring of student progress, including appropriate interventions or changes to the learning plan.
- Liaising with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Handling all new student enquiries from parents in a timely and effective manner, with a view to growing student numbers.
- Managing a small team of teaching assistants, including recruitment and training of new staff.
- Day-to-day running of the centre, including the smooth running of weekly classes, scheduling the rotas for staff and students.
- Maintaining a good understanding of our maths, English, and science programmes, and how these align to the national curriculum.
- Developing relationships with local schools and other community organizations to raise awareness of what can be offered.
- Consulting and supporting parent concerns, such as any complaints or queries.
- Liaising with head office teams regarding admin, HR, finance, marketing, and operational reporting.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children.
- Qualified teacher (ideally maths, science, English, or primary specialist).
- Proven teaching experience.
- Excellent maths and English language proficiency.
- An engaging personality and customer service ethic.
- Experience with liaising with parents from multi-nationalities.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office software packages.
