Job Summary:

The Plant Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, trucks, and vehicles. This is a key role within the company, and the successful candidate will have a strong background in plant maintenance and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to plant equipment, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of plant equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of plant equipment, including technical specifications and operational requirements.
  • Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, telehandlers, or HGVs.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and plant maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
